What are Micro-Aggressions?

Micro-aggressions are statements, behaviours, language or actions regarded as likely to make an individual or group feel exlcuded, marginalized and in some cases, harrassed.

Micro-invalidations are similar, but are comments and actions meant to undermine a person, or groups, views or standing.

FLAG-IT is our software tool that can help colleagues in your organization to anonymously report language, behaviors and situations that they feel are concerning.

By keeping reporting anonymous, we ensure there is minimnal chance of retribution for reporting, or concern that issues raised may be used against the person reporting.

Using a simple interface, FLAG-IT allows your colleagues to:

• Highlight situations that might pose a greater risk for harassment that can be fed into risk rerports

Practical Application

Unlike more traditional HR and harassment reporting tools, FLAG-IT remains anonymous and has no requirements to provide identifying personal data.
